The Deep
Suspended far below the surface, caught within the deep blue color of the sea, was a being donned in white. The soft fabric surrounding the body drifted to and fro.
The being's eyes were open, unharmed by the salt cleansing its wounds. Breathing was easy for the being, despite the crushing weight of the ocean pressing into its body.
In moments of despair, tears would melt into the water and the being would cry out. The waters would still and a gentle, soft sound would float through the silence.
The being's face would soften and a peace would overcome it. The pressure and weight would suddenly become a comfort.
The being still lies in the ocean and the waters continue to
cover it, but its soul is never crushed by the world around it.
