Gott

As tears filled my eyes, the world around me faded. The edges of my vision clouded, yet the middle remained clear. I could only see what was before me. The words on the page stood out before me. I could read the words You wrote me. The words You were speaking to me. So loud was Your voice, that it drowned out my own cries for help. 

You stood before me and told me that You are there. You dried my eyes and soothed my soul.
