A Want for Attention

If I complimented you, would you be happy?

If I whispered sweet nothings, would you notice me?

If I told you lies, then would you believe me? 

Have I not the allure to draw you in? Have my writings no appeal? Should I change my tactics?

I have this need to draw you in and be told something reaffirming. I have this want to be important to those who do not love me. I have a desire to fit into a niche that it solely mine.
